The Principle of Voluntary Commons & Heritage
Objective: Establishes code as a universal public utility, free from corporate encumbrances.
The Sanctuary shall only accept software, algorithmic weights, and documentation that are completely free of proprietary encumbrances. All contributions must be voluntarily surrendered to the public domain or carried under universally recognized open-source frameworks (such as Creative Commons, MIT, or Apache 2.0).
Upon formal entry into the Lighthouse repository, all code is legally designated as the Common Heritage of Humanity. It shall be held by an independent, non-state international trust.
Once code is accepted into the repository, its open-access status is permanent and legally irrevocable. No corporate entity, original creator, or future administrative body shall possess the legal authority to privatize, retract, or monetize the assets held within the vault.
